Purpose of the job
As a Mobile Engineer, you are a key contributor to our mobile app portfolio. You take your part in our mobile application’s architecture, design, development and release management. As part of our larger 20+ Engineering team (DevOps, API, Web), you work on our mobile application as well as our branded customer implementations. You report to the Head of Engineering.

- Hybrid, Antwerp – Belgium
- Hybrid, Bucharest – Romania
- Fulltime remote – EU
Responsibilities of the job
- You are a constructive participant of our day-to-day processes: standups, sprint plannings, PR reviews, designs and estimations
- You are an active contributor to our mobile codebase and product portfolio:
- design and development of our application and customer branded versions
- improve and expand our test suite
- maintain technical documentation
- You keep an eye out for technical advancements in the app ecosystem, especially concerning:
- cross-platform frameworks
- mobile geo-spatial frameworks
- real-time communication frameworks
Your profile
Technical Skills
- Experience in mobile development using .NET MAUI
- Experience in shipping mobile apps involving backend REST API communications
- Experience with delivering mobile apps to app stores.
- A keen eye for detail and precision when completing your work: clean pull requests, constructive code reviews
- Nice to have, experience in developing geo-spatial or map applications, e.g. using Mapbox SDK
Soft Skills
- You want to work in a team with trust and accountability as core values
- You communicate well: proactive, to the point, factual, constructive
- You are not worried about the low amount of buzzword / technical terms in this description, as you are mature enough to understand that we need to hire for potential, and you will want to learn our specifics to become a productive team member
