Unifly and Skypuzzler Unlock Scalable BVLOS Drone Operations with CONDUCT Project
Antwerp, February 21, 2025- Unifly, a global leader in UAS Traffic Management (UTM), part of Terra Drone Corporation, and Skypuzzler, proudly announce the successful completion of the Eureka Network Eurostars project CONDUCT (sCaling the drOne iNdustry through enhanceD Unmanned traffiC managemenT). This groundbreaking initiative has resulted in a breakthrough solution for automated tactical drone deconfliction, ensuring safe and efficient real-time flight adjustments for multiple drones operating in shared airspace beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS).
A key highlight of this achievement is the seamless integration of Skypuzzler’s Digital Air Traffic Control (iDATC) with Unifly’s UTM system. This fusion enhances real-time conflict resolution at both tactical and strategic levels.

Through this partnership, Skypuzzler has advanced its iDATC technology, refining, enabling more autonomous, scalable, and efficient BVLOS drone operations.
As part of this collaboration, Unifly has enhanced its UTM platform by improving integration and alerting services, ensuring smooth and reliable communication between the UTM and drones. These advancements create a fully integrated, end-to-end solution that accelerates the adoption of autonomous drone operations and strengthens airspace safety, essential product features to enable seamless interoperability with Unifly’s UTM system.
The CONDUCT project is set to drive significant progress in the drone industry, supporting environmental sustainability by reducing CO₂ emissions and contributing to the green transition. As a testament to their shared vision for scalable, safe, and sustainable BVLOS drone operations, Unifly and Skypuzzler signed a Memorandum of Understanding in March 2024, marking the beginning of continued innovation in autonomous airspace management.
"The CONDUCT project marks a major step forward for BVLOS autonomous drone flights. By integrating Skypuzzler’s Digital Air Traffic Control with Unifly’s UTM, we have enhanced real-time deconfliction and optimised the integration between drones and the Unifly UTM system, ensuring seamless and scalable operations. Our collaboration with Skypuzzler has been invaluable, and we look forward to continuing our efforts together to shape and accelerate the future of autonomous drone operations."
Andres Van Swalm, CEO and Co-Founder of Unifly
